Meet the Team

Katie Gunn MAR BSC (Hons) ( Director of Baby Reflex)

Katie is the owner and director of Baby Reflex having taken over from Jenny after her retirement in 2017. She has spent most of her career working within the training and development industry before taking a break to have her children.

During this time Katie decided to follow her passion for complementary therapies and began her training in 2007, gaining the following qualifications; ITEC level 3 diploma in massage, specialising in pregnancy, City & Guilds Sports massage diploma, ITEC Reflexology diploma specialising in pregnancy, fertility & children and a Hypnobirthing diploma. After training as a Baby Reflex practitioner Katie’s love and passion for supporting infants and children with reflexology was ignited.

Katie says ” After completing my training I used all the techniques I had learnt with my own children, they responded so well and loved the treatments so much that I started to realise how important these therapies are to children. I began treating lots of children and started to see some positive results. With the increase in children developing mental health issues it is so important to use touch as a way to engage and reconnect with our little ones.

Having the opportunity to continue Jenny’s wonderful work is a real privilege and I’m excited to develop Baby Reflex in to the future, working with and meeting like minded practitioners along the way.”
